Are the prices for one plate or a pair?

Every listing is a matched pair — a 2.5 kg pair means two 2.5 kg plates (5 kg total), so the bar loads evenly on both sides.

Should I buy pairs or a set?

If you’re micro-loading one lift, a single 0.5 or 1 kg pair covers you. For balanced 1 kg steps, the 0.5–2.5 kg set is the workhorse — and the 0.5–5 kg set adds the 5 kg pair at a discount vs. buying separately.
