Why the Barbarian

Train what a barbell can’t

Rotational + ballistic Mace swings load the body through rotation and deceleration. The movements a fixed bar can never reach.

Shoulder health Club circles open up the shoulders and build the small stabilisers that heavy pressing tends to skip.

One handle, two tools The EZ-CLACE loads short for club work and long for mace work, so the gap between the two implements closes.

Club. The shortest lever in the kit, with the weight spread along its body. Fast, forgiving, and the tool you reach for first — warm-ups, single-arm circles, shoulder mobility. Two are included so you can work both sides at once.

Bulava. The EZ‑CLACE is our take on the Slavic short mace (булава): a compact handle with the weight concentrated at the head. Cossack hetmans carried it as a symbol of authority; Eastern European strongmen swing it for conditioning. Mace-style head loading on a lever you can control.

Mace. The longest lever, with the head far out on the shaft. Maximum rotational leverage for big 360s and 10-to-2s, and the hardest of the three to master. When your shoulders are ready, this is where the load goes.
