“A sturdy piece of equipment. Padding felt really comfortable while using it.”

Why it matters

One trainer, six reasons

Great for athletes

Contact sports demand a neck that can absorb impact.

Improve posture

A strong cervical spine is the foundation of standing tall.

Boost neck size

Progressive plate loading grows what bodyweight can’t.

Reduce injuries

Balanced 4-way strength protects against whiplash-type loads.

Fix stiffness

Loaded full-range movement restores mobility desk work steals.

Great for rehab

Start light and progress in small, controlled increments.

The research

“The data shows that neck strengthening has strong potential as a key concussion prevention tool.”

Sean Gregory — TIME Magazine

A Rutgers University study found that every one-pound increase in neck strength cut the odds of concussion by 5% — and researchers recommend athletes in high-risk sports like football and soccer prioritize neck training as a preventive measure.

Product overview

See how the EZ-NECK transforms your neck training in minutes.

“Having a strong neck — why is that so important? Because you want a strong spine, and it’s the upper portion of your spine. Training my neck completely changes my psychology… I just naturally stand more upright.

Andrew Huberman — Neuroscientist, Stanford Professor
Photofeeler.com study

A strong neck is more aesthetic

Same person, same photo, same lighting — only the neck changed. Rated in the dating category by female raters ages 18–29, 20 votes per image.

Yes — here are the studies.

  • Murlok et al. (2012) — 8 weeks of neck-specific resistance training, 3×/week: average increase of 1.1 cm (0.43″) in neck circumference.
  • Mansell et al. (2005) — 16 weeks, 2×/week: average increase of 1.5 cm (0.59″).
  • Harput et al. (2014) — 8 weeks, 3×/week: average increase of 1.2 cm (0.47″).
  • Snarr et al. (2017) — 24 participants: maximum individual increase of 2.3 cm (0.9″).

Start with two sessions per week, at least 48 hours apart. Experienced neck trainees may add an optional light session if they recover comfortably. Wait until soreness resolves and normal movement returns before training again.

While neck training is generally safe when performed correctly, there is a risk of injury if exercises are done improperly. Use correct form and consider consulting a professional.

There is 8.5 cm (3.2″) of loading space.

Weight plates are not included. Any weight plate is compatible with this device, so if you train at a gym or already own plates you’re good to go. If you don’t have any, we sell weight plates here.

Yes, the EZ-NECK™ is compatible with both standard and Olympic weight plates. For standard plates you will need to purchase the standard plate adapters, sold separately.
